What We Build and How You'll Contribute

Our teams support:

  • Large-diameter foundation drilling (drilled shafts/caissons) for transmission lines, substations and commercial sites
  • Hydro-excavation for safe daylighting, precision trenching and debris removal
  • Limited-access and low-headroom drilling in constrained, sensitive or overhead-limited environments
  • Direct-embed foundations and CMP installations
  • Constructability review and value engineering to improve safety, budget and schedule
  • Site project completion to return work areas to pre-construction condition

Note: We do not offer directional drilling.

Whether you’re building foundations for new substations in Michigan, supporting utility work in neighboring states, or coordinating schedules and reporting from the office, you’ll directly impact critical infrastructure that communities rely on.

Career Paths: Field and Office

We support long-term growth in utility construction careers. Common pathways include moving from laborer to operator, lead and foreperson, or advancing from coordinator to project management and operations support roles. The specific path and timing depend on performance, openings, and business needs.

  • For hands-on pros interested in drilling jobs, you’ll work with experienced forepersons and operators on drilled shafts/caissons and direct-embed foundations.
  • If you’re exploring hydro-excavation careers, you’ll contribute to safe excavation around utilities and sensitive assets.
  • If you’re building broader utility construction careers, roles may include field operations, logistics, equipment support, or office coordination.
