Services

Foundation drilling and drilled shafts

We install large-diameter drilled shafts and caissons for transmission lines, substations and commercial structures. As experienced foundation drilling contractors that Ohio teams rely on, we handle variable geology, slurry or dry drilling as specified, and rebar cage placement and concrete coordination. Our project managers coordinate closely with your scheduler to reduce downtime and change orders. For deeper technical details, review Foundation Drilling & Drilled Shafts.

Hydro-excavation for safe daylighting

When utilities, unknowns or sensitive areas are in the work zone, our hydro-excavation crews in Ohio safely daylight buried lines, verify clearances and create precise holes with minimal surface disturbance. Hydro vac support reduces strikes, keeps corridors clean, and accelerates QA/QC for utility owners and general contractors. Learn more on our Hydro-Excavation service page.

Limited-access and low-headroom drilling

Confined substation yards, tight urban sites or under-canopy work often require specialized equipment. Our limited access drilling service in Ohio uses low-headroom rigs and compact tooling to reach foundations others can’t, while maintaining productivity and compliance. Explore options on Limited Access & Low ‑ Headroom Drilling.

Our process

1. Scope and preconstruction

Share drawings, geotech and schedule. We’ll flag risks and value options.

If needed, we perform potholing/daylighting ahead of drilling.

2. Mobilization and setup

Right-sized rigs and tooling are dispatched for access, diameter and depth.

BMPs and safety controls are established per utility and GC requirements.

3. Drilling and shaft construction

We drill to elevation, manage spoils, and stabilize excavations per spec (slurry or dry as specified by the engineer of record).

Cage placement, inspections and concrete coordination follow your ITP.

4. Project completion and turnover

Final grading, surface repair and erosion control are completed as required.

Closeout documentation delivered for smooth acceptance.

If your project requires adjacent services (e.g., direct-embed poles or CMP installations), our team will coordinate those scopes; see Direct Embed & CMP Installation.
